Powered by Googlethe baseball batting cages are legit. I crush dingers all day so this is the perfect spot for a gentleman like me who only goes yard. the staff is super helpful and the facility itself is pretty dope.
Overall the employees at this business are helpful and engaged. That said, the owner is constantly making off color, sexist, misogynistic, and overall disrespectful comments. During a visit to the facility a few weeks ago, he spent an hour telling my wife about his sex life, or lack thereof. Proceed with caution if you decide to visit this location.
If you’ve got a kid playing sports in Frederick County, The Athlete Factory Frederick is an awesome place for off-season training. My daughter’s softball team trains there during the winter and it’s been a huge help keeping the girls sharp when they can’t be on the field. The facility is clean, organized, and built for athletes who actually want to improve. The coaches and trainers do a great job working with younger athletes and pushing them to get better while still keeping it fun. You can tell they care about developing fundamentals, strength, and confidence — not just running kids through random drills. What I like most is that it gives our team a place to stay consistent in the offseason. Instead of losing progress over the winter, the girls come back stronger, faster, and more confident when the season starts. If you have a softball or baseball player looking to level up their training, I’d definitely recommend checking them out. Great facility, great people, and a big asset for youth athletes in Frederick. ⚾🥎💪
Took my son to this batting cage on March 18th, 2023, to prep for his switch from coach pitch to machine pitch. Called ahead and snagged an hour in a tunnel—super easy! The owner greeted us warmly, hooked us up with the machine, and even tossed in 5 tokens for next time. 🏏 I hadn’t swung a bat since I was a kid, so I snuck in a few hits—total nostalgia! A birthday party was rocking with Nerf Wars and dodgeball, and the kids were having a blast. The high-school helpers kept the energy high and the games fun. My son got a freeze pop at the end, which he loved. 🥶 Awesome facility, great vibes, and perfect for families or parties. We’ll be back! 10/10 recommend!
Excellent experience. A little off the beaten path but well worth it. Mom & Pop owned indoor total baseball/softball experience. Lots of room, well lit & well ventilated. Lots of parking. Owners are very nice and eager to help. Was here most recently for the batting cages. $10 got us 12 tokens to the cages where you can pick anywhere from 40mph softball (my slow speed) to super fast baseball. All machines were working and gave consistent pitches. Bats and helmets available free of charge. Will return.
