Powered by GoogleMy child has been attending this place for the past 2 years and loves it there. It lets him explore his creativity while learning different art themes and modalities.
We sent our kids here when they were younger and then my husband and I took classes as well. Monica has a wonderful way of teaching. Art is for everyone and they instill that at the Art Garage.
The Art Garage has been such a wonderful experience for our family. My kids attended summer camp there for a couple of weeks and they absolutely loved it. Every day they came home excited to show what they created and eager to go back the next morning. Monica has created such a welcoming, encouraging space for both kids and adults to explore art. All of the staff have always been incredibly kind, professional, and truly invested in helping each and every budding artist grow in both skill and confidence. The camps my kids attended were well-organized, thoughtfully planned, and full of creativity. We’re so grateful to have a place like The Art Garage in our community and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a positive, enriching art experience.
The Art Garage has helped revive a love for creating in me that I feel like I lost in childhood. It's made making art attainable again. I made so much progress in Drawing 1, and am excited to continue learning in Drawing 2, and continue to build my skills in Painting 1 and 2! The small class sizes really help, as the teachers will spend as much 1-on-1 time with you as you need. And if you get the chance to have Monica as a teacher, her passion for art is literally contagious. She will have you wanting to drop everything and become an artist. I'm excited for my little children to be old enough to start taking classes, too.
EDIT: Despite paid in full services and repeated requests, this business has still not apologized nor returned my son’s lost art they now claim to have. Disorganized at best, dishonest as worst. Refusal to accept responsibility, clearly. Do not recommend. I do not recommend the Art 2 class. Very little instruction, expensive supply fee for easily obtainable supplies. Studio lost my son’s artwork for the gallery and no attempts to make it right have been made. I will not return to the Art Garage. Look for a studio/teacher that will develop your artist rather than view them as dollar signs.
