The Apprenticeshop is a nonprofit boatbuilding and sailing school in Rockland that runs a youth summer sailing day camp for ages 6-14, meeting 9am-3pm daily. Campers sail Optis and 420 dinghies, are grouped by skill level, and join a weekly 'adventure day' aboard traditional wooden vessels built on site.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact The Apprenticeshop directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.
