This paved the way for my My youngest son, who wanted to take a tap class but didn't think it was cool for boys to take dance... But once he saw his older brother do it , it helped break a barrier He started dancing at TTP his 8th grade year. He fell in love with the studio and dance! They pushed him way out of his comfort zone and he learned so much about discipline and hard work. He liked tap so much he ended up taking all the classes and joined the company. The teachers are great and have a genuine care for their students! Competition opened his eyes what was possible and prepared him for the next levels By his senior year in high school, he was dancing on an elite level and ended up winning first place with his duet partner in Nationals! He has been at Auburn the last 2 years majoring first in theater and dance and then made the musical theater program which would not have been possible without TTP and the dance skills and technique he learned there. If you are looking for a dance studio, I'd highly recommend That's The Pointe in Chelsea. Alabama they can take kids from scratch and make them successful dancers and wonderful people!
