Telluride Adventure Center
Private
The Telluride Adventure Center in Mountain Village runs an all-day outdoor kids camp for ages 5-14, grouped by age. The youngest campers explore the woods around the ski resort, visit the Nature Center and do themed crafts; ages 8-10 take medium-difficulty adventures learning wildlife, outdoor skills, local history, water science and San Juan Mountain ecology; the oldest group does harder ecoXploration days, navigating by map and compass, building survival forts and hiking to waterfalls. Weeks run on themes such as Mushroom Mondays, Wilderness Survival, Water Wednesday and Capture the Flag Friday. Check-in is 9:00-9:30 a.m. and pickup is 3:30 p.m., at the Children's Center below Gondola Plaza.

Powered by GoogleSafety does not seem paramount. They moved our reservation up due to weather and it was thundering right over us at their office and their manager Will would still not refund. He stated we could “try” it. Which seems crazy to get on a metal zipline and take any chance. Seems like money over safety is the priority here. Which is sad to say, if they’re willing to take risk with the weather, what other risks or corners do they cut.
Went 8-10-25 Sunday morning at 10 am with the most fabulous duo of Maddie and Kate. So fun, positive and great encouragers!!! Such a great experience. So glad we all were able to experience this together!!
Tyler from Detroit was great. Very good representative of your company. We were there today to do the bungee jump with our daughter. The ladies at the jump were also great and worked very well with her and helped her do flips and make sure she was safe. Thank you.
My son did a week of summer camp at the Telluride Adventure Center and had a wonderful time even though it rained the majority of our visit. All of the counselors working the camp while he was there were great. We definitely recommend the summer program for kids here.
Hired snowbikes. Was quite a cool and different experience! They give you an hour lesson on how to use them and then they leave you for the rest of the day to use them on your own!
