Google Reviews
Powered by GoogleHorrible experience with this daycare. I am writing a review even though it has been 4 years (happened in 2021), but I will never forget about the experience we had with my son when he was a newborn. Every day that I picked up my son his face would be beat red and his voice hoarse from crying all day. The teachers in the baby room would barely speak to us and I felt like something was off from the beginning. After only about 2 weeks there, I got a notification on my phone that my son had woke up from his nap. About an hour later I arrived to pick him up and when I walked in there he was still in his crib from nap time. He was crying and his face red again. I picked him up and quickly left and as I was putting him in his car seat I noticed he was completely soaked and had a blowout. I looked at the app and the notes said they had only changed him once all day (in 8 hours). I sent several messages back to the daycare and Dani the owner confirmed he had only been changed once in a message. I never took him back. They did not take good care of my son and I felt like he was being neglected. I had to write a review as I would feel terrible if another mom had a similar experience and no one had warned her.
We found Sunrise Sunset Daycare back in 2022 during an incredibly stressful time. Our previous facility abruptly shut down, displacing our family and 16 others. I was 10 weeks pregnant, working full-time, and suddenly without childcare for our 18-month-old son. After calling more than 20 different facilities with no luck, I came across Sunrise Sunset in a Google search—and what a blessing that turned out to be. From my first call with Dani, the owner, I felt immediate relief. She was warm, welcoming, and let me know she had just restructured her facility to accommodate more toddlers. Not only did she have space for our son, but he could start the very next Monday. It truly felt like a godsend. Since then, this daycare has become an invaluable part of our lives. It’s more affordable than our previous center, but beyond that, the level of care and interaction our kids receive is outstanding. Every week, our son brings home a folder filled with art projects, and he’s been following a structured preschool schedule since he turned two. I love knowing he’s learning and playing in a well-balanced, supportive environment. Our older child has also benefited so much from Sunrise Sunset—getting to go on fun and educational field trips throughout the year, which has been such a special experience. The entire staff is incredible—friendly, caring, and engaged. Many are college-aged, which is typical in the childcare world, but each one has been wonderful with our kids. Dani is especially great with communication; whether it’s a quick update or a conversation about how we can support our kids’ development at home, she’s always approachable and responsive. At the time we joined Sunrise Sunset, we were overwhelmed and unsure. Now, we couldn’t be more grateful for the change. Don’t let the front aesthetic of the building fool you—there are several well-organized areas inside that help break things up and create a great environment for the kids. From Dani and Eva to all the amazing staff (you know who you are!)—thank you. We appreciate you more than you know.
I would give them 10 stars if I could. Both of my girls have gone here (our youngest is currently still attending). Dani and Marshall (owners/directors) are the absolute best. Our kids love them, and you can really tell they care for the kids. The teachers they have for preschool are amazing, and our oldest not only looked forward to preschool every day, but thanks to the work put in by sunrise sunset, she was a step ahead coming into kindergarten. Any day we arrive to daycare and my daughter just isn't having it, Dani personally comes up and holds her hand to take her to breakfast, or if she already ate, to play with the other kids. We are so blessed to have found this daycare and it is head and shoulder above the others we have used in terms of quality of service, connection with our girls, and peace of mind knowing they are safe and enjoying their days. Side note, the apps they have make checkin/checkout and communicating with the center a breeze as well. Would recommend to everyone!
This daycare has been an answer to our prayers. Our son now has structure & consistency every day as well as kindness & love in his daycare. He has become so sweet & polite since going here & actually likes his daycare. We know he’s getting the love & support he needs. He loves having preschool every day & all of the art projects he gets to do. He has learned so much & has absolutely blossomed. I can’t say enough good things about the owners & teachers. They have even been consistently working on potty training & he is showing growth in this area as well. We’re so happy we finally found a quality daycare where our son can thrive.
Our family has been going to this daycare for about 4 years, Marshall and Dani have cared for our 3 kids. My children have learned a lot from this daycare, their preschool curriculum is top notch! A fantastic learning environment! The owners work with staff in order to provide well rounded training, support and expectations. I really question the reliability of the low scores from the previous staff members.
