Powered by GoogleWe adore this studio. My son had been going for years and it’s one of the few activities he enthusiastically asks to continue year after year. They are great at letting kids pursue their own artistic interests while supporting with coaching and guidance.
Our middle daughter has been attending Sunflower weekly art classes for four years, since kindergarten, because we saw very early on her love and artistic bend. This studio has fostered her skills, pushed her to grow and she has excelled. It’s her favorite activity of the week! She’s won several contests for her art created there, and as a result that has boosted her confidence in how she expresses herself. When the pandemic hit, she missed her weekly art teachers and classes the most! I’m happy to report that when they started again, it was with the best safety protocols in place. I felt safe bringing her there, knowing the kids were well spaced apart, masked well, and it was organized to keep kids both back in creating but with safely a priority. I cannot recommend this studio enough! They so clearly love the kids, it shows. Their knowledge of art, and refining each child’s unique interests and personal expressions.into a lifelong skill is done with excellence. Send your children here and their creative process will blossom. The things which art gives us all are things we all need more of in the world now more than ever.
Sunflower is amazing! The teachers are phenomenal, the projects are incredibly creative, and my children are always inspired to do their best. They bring home the most wonderful pieces—we LOVE this art school!
My kids have been working with Lika and other teachers in the studio for more than 5 years. We have a great experience. Lika did a wonderful job to engage their interests especially considering one of my kids has attention-issues. The studio itself is great and my kids enjoy spending their weekends over there.
I never write reviews but occasionally saw a negative review left by someone about Sunflower Art Studio. It stroke me so much that I’m making an exclusion. My child has been going to this studio for 7 years and everything I know about this studio makes me think that this review is a mistake and negative words in it relate to some other place. It is enough to enter this warm, beautiful, and spacious studio to understand how much love is given to kids here. Bright, sunny colors, kids’ works on the walls, well organized places for work, tasteful design – everything is done so that kids could feel here at home and enjoy working on their masterpieces. Lika is very passionate about art. She is not only a talented artist and designer but has a gift for teaching. Kids love her and really the quality of works they create is amazing. She helps every kid to discover his or her talent and individual strengths, develop creativity, and master skills. Classes are never the same and never boring. With how much time and efforts Lika invests in the studio I would say that she is practically living there. She and her assistant Monika are always looking for new topics, programs, methods. They offer wonderful educative camps, special programs. In other words it is difficult to find a better place where kids can explore art, fall in love with it, be inspired and taught how to create beautiful works, and last but not least have fun.
