Storybrook Academy at Lanier Islands

I choose to stay anonymous.Please make sure you find another daycare for your kids. I took my kids out months ago but was nervous about writing a review. This place Is so unorganized. My child had been bitten, scratched, left unattended multiple times. Everyday my child would cry and would come home with bite marks. The staff would talk bad upon each other, should have been my 1st red flag. Everytime I picked my child up, my child would have poop and when I complained they said it must have been when you picked her up. When I would pick my child up they would all have a tablet and when a little boy was running around the employee would yell at the child and demand to sit down. The employee just had a baby and came back fairly quickly so I can tell she was exhausted. When my child had the final incident, where I was not notified till I walked in the school , that was my final strike. Tried to talk to the owners but she yelled at me and really didn't sympathized and eventually she said there would be changes but they did it for like a week and then went back to how they are. The little kids are bored there, staff is understaffed and take it out on the kids. I've switched day cares and this made my open up on how bad this place is. My children are thriving at their new day care and I have mom guilt for not taking them out sooner. Please go else where, I warn everyone please stay away. Obviously they won't go out of business but don't feel desperate to have this as your first choice, please look else where.

My daughter started at Storybrook Academy this year. We have been thrilled with the knowledge and support the staff has shown. She comes home every day so happy and sharing all the lovey things they did during school. We feel safe and know she is in great hands! Excited for the school year!

We have had the best experience here with our youngest daughter and the our oldest did the summer program this year and loved it. Everyone is so kind and caring. They provide lots of communication which helps a lot as a parent. 10 out 10 recommend to anyone looking for childcare- from one skeptical mom to another!
