★★★★★Mami T Phillips!I've been coming to this place for Many years, like 15 years, lol, and it has always been a pretty great resource place for family fitness in our community! A huge pool with a couple lap swim lanes. And they offer group and private swim lessons which we've used for our youngest son who wasn't letting me teach him to swim as our other kids allowed me to, so they taught him in a few short weeks and now he is great at it and not afraid to swim almost anywhere or to go on boats now as he was before! 😊🙏🏽 And their Fitness Classes are so great and help to make getting in shape much more fun as you push yourself Better and harder to keep up with the class so you're more inclined to actually get a really good workout! I Love the Motivation it gives us all as Most of us really need it! Lol. They also have a gymnasium that have just freeplay basketball available as well as small leagues you can join. They offer a kids basketball league that is actually ran by the YMCA as the adult leagues usually are not. The cardio equipment room has a great variety for any level you may be at in your fitness journey. Then there's a separate weight machines/ free weights room that I love using as well! A wonderful thing they offer here that no other gym in our area offers, is their Wee Care! You can drop your little one in a Secure child care room that Always has child care staff watching our precious kiddos Every moment, with lots of fun toys to play with and it's Clean! This feature is Free for YMCA members and I've used it a lot! Lol. This does have bery limited operation hours though is the only downside of this that hasn't afforded me the ability to workout at some times that I have the Time to but no one else to watch kiddos, But at least it's available in the evenings on most weekdays. 😊👌🏽🤍🙏🏽 All in all, this place is such a great blessing for our community! Highly recommend!
★★★★★Mackenzie SheffieldI am so happy I decided to enroll my daughter in the Afterschool Y program at Jefferson Elementary. This is such a great program and so helpful as a parent who needs after school child care. My daughter loves going and always has fun and has positive things to say about the staff. Now, both my daughters are enrolled in the Summer Y program and absolutely love it. They love being able to play and swim and they love the counselors. They ask me every night if they get to go back like it’s a vacation. My experience with the staff has pretty much been with Jamie and Natalie who are both super patient kind and genuinely joyful people to deal with. Natalie seems like she really connects with each child she takes care of. She knows their names, she knows things they like and spends time with them and actually talks to them. She seems like she genuinely loves working with kids. Jamie has always been available when I have questions and is super friendly. We will be continuing with the y programs next school year. 10/10! Recommend to anyone
