★PamI would not recommend their afterschool nor camp to anyone. The counselors are not trained appropriately and don’t care about their jobs. The lack of attention to safety is concerning and the management and staff could care less to address the lack of supervision by counselors leading to continuous conflicts and children getting hurt. Sterling center prides themselves as a long established center of the community but it’s saddening to interact with their staff who represent the center and funded a lot of money to provide safe services for the children in their care, not uphold that moral and ethical standard. I’m sure their food pantries and donation services are helpful to those in need but their child care programs are terrible. Sterling center will continue to ask for funding and donations from the community and outside donors for their continued operations but the cannot provide the people of the community safe and affordable child care. Please choose elsewhere.

★★★★★Carrie WalterNot sure where to begin since Sterling House offers SO MANY wonderful programs. Both of my children have attended their after school and summer camp programs. Both love them! My son has participated in their soccer program and my daughter took advantage of their Introduction to Volleyball two summers ago and wants to possibly try out in high school. Their karate class on Saturday mornings (for all ages) is terrific too. What I like most about it is that you purchase coupon books and only use a coupon when you attend a class. I love that they have volunteer opportunities for our youth which is something my 7th grader recently told me she wants to look into. Their staff is always helpful and happy to help! Shout out to Ms Terry, Ms Donna, Mr Michael, Ms Ericka, Ms Amanda and all of the SHCC Staff!
