I’ve grown up at Starlight and my life has changed for the better because of it. I started doing shows at Starlight in 3rd Grade and now I’m a Freshman in college. Starlight is a great experience for any child, when I started Starlight I couldn’t sing or act and now I’ve gotten awards, scholarships, and am now studying theatre and music education. I have done the Jr shows, rising stars, and the summer camps and I loved every second of each! Starlight is my second home and truly is the place to be.

I have been involved in theatre most of my life. We sent our 8 year old grandson to theatre camp in August 2025. We were hoping for a well rounded introduction into theatre for him. The camp was overcrowded. Way too many kids for such a small facility. The place was absolutely filthy. The kids had to put their book bags, lunch and water bottles on the filthy floor. Disgusting. I feel the staff was friendly and caring. The production on the last day was so jammed packed with skits and monologues it was very hard to follow. We were hoping for a good dose of creative and well rounded theatre introduction. This did not happen. So very disappointed in what could be an outstanding facility and program for our community. Clean up your act Starlight!

EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, DO NOT GO HERE!!! When I enrolled my child for Alice In Wonderland JR. I was extremely shocked by the amount of disrespect shown for my little Sammy. My Sammy had told me that she hated going here, And here are the reasons why. : I had gotten reports from her that the theater is extremely filthy with mold. I thought she had just been mistaken of paint or something, But she was correct. It is so dangerous with the amount of MOLD in the backstage and costume room area. I was also shocked when I had went backstage to look for my Sammy's forgotten water bottle, Where I saw the floor was like a beach. It felt like I had been swimming, There was SO MUCH water flooding the backstage area, And I was slipping all over the place. Has to be taken with extreme caution when walking around backstage in the character heels they wear. My Sammy also said that she had been bullied by a group of students, And when she went to tell the Director, He said he'd talk to them. He never did. She reminded him again because the bullying never stopped, And guess what had happened? He didn't speak to them once again. Big shocker. The amount of effort put into this was ridiculous. She came home crying daily about this and the fact that nothing was done about it? Please, If you want your child to not be miserable, Don't take your child here. I am so hurt by how she was treated, And now she doesn't want to participate in any other theatres, because she believes it will always be like this. And it sucks too, Because she was so excited to do theatre, But thanks to Starlight, her passion was destroyed.

First visit to this theater located in a stripmall was not inpressive; the theater leans towards a gaudy look. But as they say "dont judge a book by its cover,' the performance was well worth the visit. Directed by a 16 y/o student (well accomplished in writing musicals and plays), Day One portrays the events surrounding the first day of return of a man from prison, which lean both humorously and intricately. I was impressed by the performance of the guy's girlfriend; she made the show more lively and exhibited closer to realistic portrayal
