STARBASE Minnesota runs a four-day summer STEM program called Summer Next Gen at the Minnesota Air National Guard 133rd Airlift Wing in St. Paul, where students design and 3D-print, build and program robots, launch rockets and use virtual reality on a simulated mission to Mars. Sessions run Monday-Thursday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, so it is a half-day program, and general registration is open to any child entering grades 4, 5 or 6. STARBASE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that also delivers five-day STEM programs to school groups during the school year.
