Our family’s experience with STAR Rush Cincinnati has been and continues to be outstanding. We’ve been a part of this club since 2021. What sets STAR apart is their unwavering commitment to a player-first culture, effectively balancing competitive play with individual development at a value that I believe is one of the best in Cincinnati. On development, STAR’s executive director and coaching staff emphasize fundamentals as a part of both practice and game strategy, starting at the youngest ages, and on a player-by-player basis. In 2023, STAR partnered with Rush Soccer, and this partnership has expanded opportunities for athletes at a regional, national, and even global level (e.g. Rush Fest, Rush Regional Select Teams). Both of my children are taking advantage of these experiences. On communication, I’ve also been impressed with the Club’s willingness to genuinely listen and respond to feedback. It speaks volumes to have a partnership with my children’s coaches and the STAR Board to answer questions or resolve concerns, again with player-focused decision making. Finally, STAR staff reinforce the criticality of a positive, supportive atmosphere on the sidelines, which is incredibly important to our family. If you're looking for a soccer club that genuinely cares about developing the whole player in a positive environment and with competitive play, STAR Rush Cincinnati is an excellent choice.

STAR Rush is a top-flight program. My family discovered Rush while I was stationed at Pearl Harbor Hickam. The development I saw my son make with Rush was enormous. When we returned to Ohio, the local Rush team took us on. Now, all three of my children are in the program.
