You need a outdoor pool pass on top of a regular ymca membership to swim here. I get it because that one summer before the passes, it got so packed. But they have to have some alternatives for members. Like day passes or just month to month. The rules at this ymca is absurd that you mine as well have each sit in the corner and swim in one spot. The adults here are ridiculous. My kids got yelled at for slashing... in the kids side. Lol please go to nine oaks this is a kids pool. I did the pool pass 2 years ago and regret buying it. Just a shame we have to drive elsewhere to swim. The inside is great and the programs are great. Just upset about the outdoor pool set up. The kids can't even bring in toys to play.

My wife and I recently joined the Spring Valley YMCA as part of their special Veterans program. We are learning a great deal about proper use of their workout equipment and truly appreciate the support provided by Ethan and Sean. We highly recommend joining this facility.

Place is great but the indoor slide for the pool needs to be fixed. When you’re paying the cost of a family membership you’d expect everything to be in working order. Overall we enjoy it since it’s close to home but come on. Also the facilities overall are a bit on the dirty side. It’s also hard to get a good work out in anytime after 4pm as it’s packed with teenagers with terrible etiquette and constant profanity. Where are the parents!

5 Stars – A Wonderful Community Resource! YMCA Royersford has been an incredible place for both personal growth and community engagement. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and truly care about the members. From the variety of fitness classes and modern gym equipment to the pool and family programs, there’s something here for everyone. What stands out most is the sense of community—it’s a place where people of all ages and backgrounds feel included and supported. Whether you're looking to improve your health, meet new people, or find programs for your kids, this YMCA goes above and beyond. Highly recommend for anyone in the area!

Awesomeness in one place. This ymca has everything you need for body building and family fun, the pool is clean, sauna and hot tub, workers are friendly ( they try). Child watch is the best! These girls are so caring and I feel so confident and comfortable with them. The machines at the gym are clean and working, usually after 4 pm it gets busy but we get the work done. Classes are fun ( my favorite are combat and spin) however they have a wide variety for your comfort level. Definitely my home gym! Love this Y.
