Briarwood Day Camp

I don't even know what to say. Upon arriving, I saw pieces of car lining the side of the road and what looked like human remains. When I walked out of my car, I was greeted by the administrator who goes by the name "Goofy Mike". He then lured me into a shed and I don't remember anything after that, but I noticed my left pinky toe was questionably missing. Deciding to make the most of my day, I headed to the pool but was thrown in from behind by a mysterious figure stumbling around squirting pepper spray in every direction. I ended up sinking to the bottom of the amoeba infested brown pool only to be violated by a restrained camper tickling my feet. If all that wasn't enough, I was sucker punched by Goofy Mike and he told me that if I didn't shut up and listen to him, he would turn me into a hotdog and eat me. The nurse offered me an ice pack to treat my extensive injuries like that would help. I decided to leave but my car was nowhere to be found. Next thing I know, I was hit by Goofy Mike's ex-wife going 95 in her Ford F150. I am now in critical condition. Thanks Briarwood.

Where do I even start, the counslers, the owners, or the infectious lake. To start off my not so jolly trip, the second we got there and the counslers let us out, they took my child and lead him to a shed for a "makeover" whatever that means, but he is not my favoirte so I do not really need that one back anyway. I am minding my buiesness walking down trail and all the sudden this tall man who rumor has it the kids call, "Goofy Mike" starts chasing me down the road throwing rocks at me screaming he is going to pantsaloonies me. Wow was I mortified. So I did the only rational thing and pulled out my pepper spray and missed but accidently sprayed some kids in the process, oh well, it builds character. After I got away from that evil man I went to take a dip in the lake, when all the sudden a 16 foot tall lake monster springs up from the water saying he's going yo nibble on my toes. I got my behind out of there faster than your momma can cook a sunday dinner. Also, there is hornets nests in the bathroom

Love it here! Been going for 8 years as a camper. So worth it! I love all the staff, activities, and how open it is! Pool is always fun, and once you get to CITS, it’s even better! CITs go on trips as well. All the bad reviews about the owners are not true! These owners are great and sound never do stuff like this! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Grandparent here, with a second generation of Briarwood campers. It has consistently been a wonderful experience for my children and now my grandchild. If you could imagine the quintessential day camp, this would be it. Everything that is fun under the sun, and great for rainy days too. Great lunch program, with lots of choices for picky eaters. Excellent swim program. Last year, our granddaughter tried out an overnight camp, but missed Briarwood, so she's back again this year and happy about it. One very cool thing is that since the inception of this camp, each bunk makes their own plaque including their bunk name and year which are then hung up. It was amazing to our granddaughter to see her mother's and her aunt's plaques from when they were campers decades ago.

Good place for teens to play different kinds of sports since there are w lot of sports you can play here. I personally would not recommend overnight staying there cause most of their cabins are really in bad condition with no windows to close and that made me and my friends literally freeze. So overall good place for sports and activities and bad place for overnight activities. Although they have a few good cabins but you gotta be lucky to get them!
