Spokane Valley Parks & Recreation runs a themed summer day camp for children ages 6 to 12, with weekly sessions from mid-June through August at city facilities such as CenterPlace. Each week has a theme (for example a mystery, racing or medieval adventure) and includes field trips, park visits and swimming when weather permits. A municipal program with scholarships available.
