I’ve been going to this place for years now. Everyone that works here has always been super nice and welcoming. Reading some of these reviews and the negative comments just sounds like people looking to complain because they don’t like rules being enforced and want to do things their way. Front desk workers are really cool and helpful. Addam specifically has always said hi to me, as long as he’s not helping someone. Always friendly and helpful. Some might even go as far to say funny lol The personal trainers are super nice. You’d be in good hands with anyone there. The pool is nice and clean here. They have a wet sauna and it is co-ed. People are usually respectful, it can get pretty packed in there though depending when you go. They offer great programs for kids and the kiddie pool playground has been a hit for our nieces and nephews. All in all, I think for the price this place has a lot to offer. They have rules you have to follow that maybe other smaller gyms wouldn’t enforce. At the end of the day it’s for safety or due to state guidelines, not because employees want to bicker with people. I’ve watched this happen and it’s sad how mad people get as if expressing anger changes things. I’d highly recommend going here even though it’s getting busier and I’d like it to stay a little secret lol

I have taken my son here several times and was going to get a family membership this summer. However, our last experience was quite unpleasant. 2 of the 3 lifeguards that were on duty in the pool area were very rude and unprofessional. One even began blowing her whistle very dramatically when my son went to speak to his grandma who was in the hot tub.. He was sitting on the edge of the hot tub with his feet outward, and the lifeguard was blowing her whistle dramatically. Even though she could clearly see that he was just sitting there speaking to his grandma. This had happened right after another one had gotten mad at mine and another child for swimming too close to elderly person in the lazy river. She proceeded to go over to the elderly person and laugh pointing and make a rude gesture as to imply, my child wasn't thinking. Even though the kids were quite a ways away from this elderly person they were upset they might get splashed.. Wouldn’t consider this to be kid friendly place to swim or bring the kids. That being said the 3rd lifeguard that has been there for sometime was very nice. They even tried to explain to stick up for my son to the other lifeguard regarding speaking to grandma in the hot tub. However I believe this will have been our last time there.

1st time there checking out the sauna and pool. I've read some reviews and it appears as though most are overly critical. This is a rec center. A vast array of different people with different purposes. For the reason I believe this place does fit the needs and my expectations. I used a treadmill, showered prior to the sauna (which was out by the pool). The sauna was very nice and got HOT ♡ I loved it. Yes males and females. Swim gear and others w workout gear. Not a big deal. Everyone was chill and it wasn't a big deal. I loved how hot it got. The pool was nice. Had a good swim. The hot tub was fine. Not as hot as it'd like but good enough. I appreciated the swim suit drying thing in the lady's locker room. I did kick myself not having slip on shoes walking around. Idky people complained about people wearing swim shoes in the sauna and pool. That's what they are for and I support wearing them. If had them I would have worn them as well. I'll be going back and bringing my toddler grandchild to the pool for fun time.

Absolutely terrible experience. This gym signs you up without telling you about a million ridiculous rules they hide until you’re already paying. Case in point: you’re not allowed to have a bag on the floor for your gear—gear that you actually need to use the gym. When I pointed out that this was completely unreasonable and said I would just cancel my membership, they didn’t care at all about my needs. All they cared about was their stupid, inflexible policies. I’ve never felt so unwelcome and frustrated at a place that’s supposed to help you get in shape. Do yourself a favor: avoid this gym unless you enjoy being treated like your convenience doesn’t matter and following rules that make zero sense. I've been to gyms all over the country and this is in my top 5 worst ones If your serious about working out and you dont want to be treated like a child putting things in cubby holes go to hard-core gym spokane. They are made for men and women who want real results and no dumb policy
