Special Love is a Winchester, Virginia nonprofit whose cornerstone program, Camp Fantastic, is a week-long, medically supported overnight summer camp for children ages 7-17 who have cancer (within about five years of treatment). Founded in 1983 and run as a National Cancer Institute protocol, it offers canoeing, swimming, ropes courses, cooking and sports. Programs are free or carry only a nominal fee.

She said she had a Great time, because everyone there look like her, meaning bald head, due to chemo. This place helped my daughter in many ways.
