Spartans Sports Factory at 192 Paris Ave in Northvale runs year-round baseball and softball camps and clinics in its private facility, including clinics during school vacations, plus private, semi-private and small-group lessons. Established in 1992, it bills itself as the longest-running full-time baseball and softball instructional facility in North Jersey, and trains players from age five through little league, high school, college and the professional ranks. Its staff are professional, college and high school coaches and former college players, and the program has produced seven MLB draft choices and six collegiate All-Americans.

★★byungwook kimDid spartans winter clinic last year and just saw an ad for this year. They dont teach anything, just bunch of hitting stations with high school kids tossing ball at them. Probably had like 25-30 kids per class so theres lots of waiting in line. Private lessons are different story. They have great young coaches who are energetic and very communicative.

★Michael WonNot Recommended, particularly for younger children. We did baseball camp and my child never took out his bat???!!! How do you do baseball camp without learning to hit. All they ever did was play dodge ball. Also, while this may have not been the experience for everyone, our child experienced a good amount of bullying from the older kids. We only sent him a week and pulled him out early. Facilities were also not impressive.
