Southern Appalachian Dance Academy runs themed summer dance camps at its Abingdon studio, grouped by age. The 2026 lineup includes Paw Patrol and Barbie weeks for younger dancers and Zootopia and Huntrix weeks for middle and older groups, plus a Nutcracker Boot Camp for dancers wanting to learn roles ahead of Nutcracker season. Past camp weeks have run three to five consecutive days in June and July; registration is by email.
