I have been attending the adult beginner ballet classes and it has been a wonderful experience. From the first day, Mr. and Mrs. Fu immediately made me feel welcome. Danielle is an amazing teacher and gives great corrections/advice. As someone with no ballet experience previously, class is easy to follow because Danielle always does the full barre and speaks it out. Sonoran Ballet Academy is rewriting the ballet school narrative! If you want your child to grow in a supportive, quality, encouraging environment; you need to get them to SBA. Getting to learn from Danielle and Fu is so special because both are exceptional dancers AND exceptional teachers. I grew up dancing and took quite a bit of time off. Getting back into ballet with such a close history to the art, and as an adult was scary, but I am so thankful I came to my first class! Over a year later and Wed/Fri nights are my favorite time because I get to dance with my newly found dance family. Highly recommend!

A true gem of a dance school! SBA was opened last Fall by an impressively talented and authentically caring husband-wife team. Classes are intentionally small and include ballet, contemporary, and jazz with offerings for tots through adults. This will be our 2nd school year with this sweet, challenging school, and my daughter’s growth has been exponential. She cannot wait to participate in her first Nutcracker! We feel fortunate to have found this world-class school.
