Solid Rock Camp & Retreat Center sits on about 70 forested acres near Florissant, in the shadow of Pikes Peak. Its Discovery and Adventure summer camps combine hiking, archery, swimming, group games and crafts with morning and evening chapel. The grounds include hiking trails, a campfire area, disc golf course, basketball court, sand volleyball court, recreation field and an observatory, with lodging in rustic cabins and single-family suites. When sessions are not scheduled the facility is rented to church and ministry groups, schools, and family reunions.
