Blue Mountain Ranch is a co-ed overnight (sleepaway) camp near Florissant in the Pike National Forest, welcoming boys and girls ages 7-15 since 1946. Set in a mountain valley with a lake for fishing and canoeing, it offers 16- or 21-day sessions with horseback riding, archery, swimming, technical climbing, a ropes course, sports, and hiking. This AMAZING family owned multi generational camp is a treasure in the Colorado mountains. I’ve been acquainted with the Grafs most of my life and sent both of my children here last summer. It changed them for the better. In this tech obsessed world, giving your children the gift of unplugging and having a good old fashioned camp experience is an irreplaceable experience for anyone wanting a deeper connection with nature. The kids were well cared for and felt safe and supported. We’re going to be sending our son back every summer for as many years as we can! Love BMR! 💙
