Silver Lake Camp & Retreat Center is an overnight Christian summer camp in Sharon, an outdoor ministry of the Southern New England Conference of the United Church of Christ. One-week Sunday-Saturday sessions serve youth in grades 4-12 on a 60-acre campus along Mudge Pond, with waterfront and sailing plus instructional tracks in musical theater, music and video/film. Established in 1957.

★★★★★Ken CrayI remember Silver Lake from when I was young and I went there for weekends with my Christian Fellowship group. It was memorable! Fact is...the first time I ever danced with a woman happened right there. That you NEVER forget! We danced to James Taylor's "You got a friend". I won't mention her name because the last I knew she was married and had a kid. But, special times - YEAH! Special place. Go there sometime and make your own special, memorable moments!

★★★★★Addy PariseI love to go there every year the staff is so much fun and it will only take you one day until one of the staff members is your friend. And the lake is so much fun to swim in and the lifeguards are always alert in case someone is in danger. Also the beds are so comfy and your counselor is so nice and friendly. The bathrooms are very clean and big. The people there are super nice and welcoming it will only take one day for you to make a new friend. Finally Silver Lake Conference is a all around amazing place and the people there are as equally amazing love the place keep up the amazing work.

The open kitchen and living room area with fireplace and outside decks added to the overall ambience. The outdoor worship area was near a brook/small waterfall, had log benches, basic and lovely. There was also a larger group wooded area chapel. They also do meal plans for groups, which we did not try. Maybe next year....
