Church of Christ overnight Bible camp on roughly 700 acres of mountain land in Cannon County, at the highest point in Middle Tennessee, operating since 1953. The camp runs week-long summer sessions organized by session directors and registered through an online system that sorts sessions by age and gender; campers bring a Bible, notebook and sleeping bag, swim at the camp pool, and use a canteen card for snacks. The camp enforces a board-approved dress and policy code, and also hosts retreats outside the summer.

A child that has issues was tried to made to stay and in turn decided to bully my kid to the point of punching him in the head and ears till he got him on the ground and began kicking him. My child refused to fight back cause he didn’t want to be sent home . In return they wait several hours before informing us and passed it off as just a simple tussle between boys. Saying they were both spoken with and the other was sent home . The other teen got what he wanted but was invited back for family night. Finding out later my son had reached out to an adult but nothing was done until after the altercation and Bible study wasn't even interrupted to speak to them. They failed to protect my child tried to sweep it under the rug. As if all is well. Everyone makes mistakes but being adults and not owning up to it is worse. No one expects their kid to bullied or hit at Bible camp. It should be safe.
