S.H.I.N.E. Swim Academy, formerly Rob Knight's Swim America, is a Bloomington swim school rather than a summer camp. It teaches the SwimAmerica curriculum developed by the American Swimming Coaches Association, using a Sticker 1-10 group-lesson progression in which swimmers earn gold stickers as they complete freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly skills, with water safety as the stated priority. Lessons run in the indoor heated pools at Four Seasons Health Club, where the north pool is held at 88-90 degrees for children's and adult lessons. The school was bought from its founders by a former ISU student who had worked there as an undergraduate.
