What a wonderful theatre company. I was able to see a recent production of Matilda. What a fantastic show that was. The set was just stunning and so creative. The show was full of talent. I am currently a student at Shine On Performing Arts and I love it so much! I was recently the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland and a church lady in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. SOPA has taught me so much. The team is very nice and cares deeply about me exceling in the Theater . I love the audition process and how SOPA casts by talent and not by opinion. They have amazing costumes and sets. Shine On Performing Arts is by far the beast theater company for all ages and abilities.

SOPA is a place where your talents that you didn't know you had yourself are brought out. It's a place where you are called to be the best version of yourself. I recently had the pleasure of participating in their production of Newsies, and, never having taken any dance or tap classes, was at first timid about being placed in the Feature Dance Ensemble. After the shows, some people I had never met from the audience asked me how long I had been taking dance lessons. I told them I hadn't ever taken any. But because Mrs. Emily (the director) gave me a chance to try something new, and because of the quality of teaching at SOPA, I was made to seem as though I was an experienced dancer. I will without a doubt be coming back to SOPA for future shows. If you join SOPA, you will be endlessly blessed, and have a lot of fun, too!

Shine On Performing Arts is the perfect place to go to. I have learned so much from the fantastic faculty, not just about theater and the physicality of it, but also the mental and emotional side of things. Not only is SOPA filled with extremely talented people, but we are also filled with such sympathetic, amazing people who are there for each other through thick and thin. Everyone is so kind and welcoming and not afraid to push people out of their comfort zone. Everybody loves everybody here and it is such an amazing community of people.
