Sellwood Community House is a nonprofit community center in SE Portland whose summer day camps span ages 3 through rising high school, grouped from preschool camps up through K-2, 3rd-5th, and counselor-in-training tiers. The venue was spacious yet cozy, with all the amenities we needed: a kitchen for a large buffet; a "living room" with a bar, couches, a fireplace, pingpong, shuffleboard, and foosball; outdoor space for a beer garden and cornhole; a gym for a dance party; and smaller rooms for more intimate conversations. The staff were amazing - professional, flexible, creative, detail oriented, available and communicative. We could not have asked for a better venue or better staff to help us pull it off.
