★★★★★Jenna IantornoWhat an amazing place to board your horse. I had boarded my horse and two ponies at Second wind farm while I was away for a long trip. I knew I had left my animals in caring hands and I could relax. Sherry the owner who is a very kind and knowledgeable horsewomen took exceptional care of my horses! The ranch is well equipped with a round pen, riding arena, stalls, pastures and trials. They also offer riding lessons and kids camps as well. I definitely recommend this friendly family run farm for any of your equine needs in Bedford county.
★★★★Deyannira TiradoLarge farm space which they have converted to a spooky walk this time of year. Even the drive up had some interesting decorations which worked very well in a dark, foggy night. The walk itself was about 15 min (if you took your time) and was very well done. My friends behind me were screaming and grabbing each other pretty much the whole way through. The walk was guided by glowsticks and each group was allowed one small flashlight which was perfect and didn’t detract from the experience. They had a food truck which had funnel cakes, hot dogs and soda/water which was nice after a thrilling walk. Overall, it was a good time even if it was an hour drive to get there. Would be good for a friend outing or a date (if you’re into that kind of thing).

Ben was great day of and showed the kids the animals and was super helpful. I would recommend to anyone looking for a fun kids bday that loves animals ! It’s a great for the price as well. Pics don’t do it justice. Thanks for such a wonderful birthday for my little girl!! She is still talking about it!
★★★★★Leah MayhughI cannot say enough great things about Second Wind Farm. My daughter has been riding horses for years and was in a rut at her previous farm with lessons. Trainer Liz @ Second Wind has been a blessing for us. The horses have so much personality and are well taken care of. My daughter is challenged and is learning new skills every week. We have also enjoyed the group trail rides that are easily scheduled for a girls' time adventure. The summer horse camp was AMAZING! We have hanging on our wall a horseshoe with the camp picture in it as a great camp memory. You must check this farm out as they always have something going on for the entire family!

They work so hard to provide a full family experience. @MisterJobi, I read your review, I was there as well, and I agree, the festival was not for everyone, but did you know the family only rented their property for the festival use, it wasn’t their event? I encourage you to check out their Haunted trail the last 3 weekends of October, that is an event they are over and host yearly. Hope to see you there!
