I’m sharing this as feedback for both the camp and other parents considering sending their children here. The camp itself seems well organized and the leaders were friendly, and I truly believe the intention is to create a positive experience for kids. That said, my daughter had a very difficult experience that I feel parents should be aware of. From the first day of camp, my daughter’s sleeping bag went missing after she got off the bus. Unfortunately, she was never given a replacement or solution for the rest of the camp. On top of that, her purse was taken, along with all of her spending money. While the leaders expressed that they were sorry, there did not seem to be much follow-up or effort to help her resolve the situation. What concerned me most was that my daughter was left in a position where she had to borrow money from another camper (a boy) just to get through the experience. As a parent, that was very upsetting to hear. When a child loses essential belongings at camp, I believe there should be stronger support, supervision, and care. I am not writing this to criticize the mission of Young Life, but to encourage better procedures when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would advise parents to ask detailed questions about supervision, lost-and-found procedures, and how campers are supported if issues arise before sending their children here. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future campers.

Very beautiful YoungLife Camp with lots to do. The food of course was amazing and a lot of variety! The sleeping arrangements in the family cabin were amazing with enough good and amenities that made my wife and I both say wow! Everything was perfect and there was so many cool things to do like the ropes course, pool, water slides, horses, zip line, games and more. It was a terrific weekend and looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you YoungLife!

Amazing camp! I come here twice a year for different retreat and the experience is always great. You cant be the location, as it's tucked in beautiful mountains. The amenities are great with a zipline, swimming pond, hot tub, water slide, gym, and more. Rooms are extremely nice for a camp. I'm always impressed and excited to return.
