Nice place, with lots of learning thru experience.., a must visit for those curious minds.. I too became a child and have enjoyed playing with the giant geometric bubbles, colored shadows- creating other coors with the primary, have competed with my kiddo in rocket launching, car building and launching, paper flight making and launching.. had fun! And everything is well maintained!

We had an incredible experience at Sci-Tech Discovery Center during National Engineering Week! The event was extremely well organized and full of hands-on, engaging activities that truly inspired both kids and adults. From interactive STEM stations to the 3D Design area using TinkerCAD, every corner encouraged creativity, problem solving, and innovation. The hands-on engineering challenges allowed students to think like real engineers—designing, testing, and improving their ideas in a fun and supportive environment. The Maker Studio was especially impressive, giving kids the opportunity to explore technology in a way that feels exciting rather than intimidating. What stood out the most was how passionate and helpful the volunteers and organizers were. They took the time to explain concepts clearly, answer questions patiently, and make every child feel confident and capable. Events like this truly make a difference by showing young minds that engineering is not just about equations—it’s about imagination, teamwork, and building solutions for the future. National Engineering Week at Sci-Tech Discovery Center is a fantastic way to spark curiosity and encourage the next generation of innovators. We left feeling inspired and motivated. Highly recommend visiting—especially during special events like this!

Impressed. We visited with our 2 year old and 4 year old daughters. They were both VERY entertained the entire time. One area to keep an eye on is the Up, Up and Away! There are scissors with the Pre-Flight prep which is a connected experience area where kids can cut paper cones. I caught the scissors before my little one could grab them and noticed they do have a area high and away from kids however when we visited the scissors were easily accessible to all kids and could have been a danger. In our case we didn’t have a problem. The Up Up and Away portion my 2 year old would have spent the entire afternoon at alone, very fun station and learning for cause and effect. Everything was clean, staff friendly, the parking lot was full but we didn’t feel like it was overly crowded. We will absolutely visit again and very happy with the price and value!

We had a wonderful experience at the Sci-Tech Discovery Center in Frisco! It was very interactive and educational, perfect for toddlers. My kids were fully engaged the entire time, exploring hands-on exhibits that made learning fun and age-appropriate. We spent about an hour there, and they had an absolute blast the whole time. It’s a great place to spark curiosity and let little ones learn through play. Highly recommend for families with young children!

Great option for kids to have many hands on activities. I was even surprised that the layout kept going into a back area with more activities. Seems like most kids weren't back there. Both kids (5 and 7) enjoyed it a lot and would have stayed longer than the 1.5 hours we were there.
