We just wrapped up the inaugural season with School of Rock Fort Mill and it’s been an incredible experience. We’ve seen so much growth in our daughter’s skills and confidence, and her love for music has deepened even further. We love the sense of community and the welcoming, inclusive environment. My daughter is excited to go to rehearsal and lessons every week, and the band’s enthusiasm really shows when they perform. You can tell they’re having fun, supporting each other, and growing at the same time. It’s a place where kids can truly be themselves while doing what they love. It’s such a special balance, and we couldn’t be happier!

Our son started at School of Rock this past December, and we just experienced his first concert. From day one, he has absolutely loved going, and we’ve seen so much growth in both his confidence and musical ability. The instructors are encouraging, engaging, and truly invested in each student’s progress. One thing we really appreciate is how flexible and accommodating the team has been, especially with vacations and school breaks. They make it easy for us to keep him involved and progressing, even with a busy family schedule. The concert itself was an absolute blast. It was amazing to see them all support each other and have fun doing what they love. We’ve had such a great experience with School of Rock! My son has been taking guitar lessons with Drew, and it’s been an incredible fit from day one. Drew is not only a talented instructor but also knows how to keep lessons engaging and fun, which has made a huge difference in my son’s confidence and enthusiasm for playing. One of the highlights has been his time in the performance band. It’s given him the chance to step outside of just guitar and explore new instruments, collaborate with other kids, and really grow as a musician. Getting to perform live—especially at Hoppin in Rock Hill for family and friends—was such a memorable experience and something he was so proud of. This has been such a great experience. My son had such a great time learning the bass guitar and the School of Rock makes kids accountable to their band members so they practice without being told. He had so much fun at the rock concert performance. We also had fun making Tshirts and merch to celebrate the bands first show!
