Nonprofit community arts organization in Charlotte (founded 1969, formerly Community School of the Arts) offering summer arts and music day camps for kids through teens, 9am-4pm, June through August. Programs include a Discovering Music and Art camp for elementary students, band camp (grades 6-12), string orchestra camp, and youth choir camp (grades 2-6). About half of its students receive reduced-rate tuition through financial aid.
