The SAY Detroit Play Center at Lipke Park, 19320 Van Dyke St in Detroit, is a youth center for young people ages 8 to 18 built around an after-school program: students must study or receive tutoring on each visit in order to take part in sports, music, dance, STEM robotics, art and other activities. Facilities include a digital learning center, a regulation football field funded by Matthew Stafford's Score 7 Foundation and a Detroit Pistons basketball court, and programming runs in partnership with Detroit's major sports teams. No summer camp program is listed; contact the center to confirm summer offerings.

Community driven facility. After school & summer programs. Check website or call for participating after school transportation. Meeting rooms. Football, baseball fields. Recording studio, computer lab, full basketball court, so many more amenities. Clean facility, helpful staff, free ample parking lot.

I was trying to enroll my nephew but when I tried to make an account my address kept beeing rejected and I never received the email with further instructions. Yes I checked my spam folder. How are people suppose to use the site if the site has a glitch?

Great organization, serving the community. Children come to receive assistance with their online schooling MWF 7:30am- 3:30pm. After school programing 3:30-6:30- M-F, where students get reading instruction and participate in extracurricular activities like, chess, art, music, drama, and robotics.

This is a beacon in the community of Detroit. Many folk do not know that this treasure exist. The young men of the Building Better Men Program moved into the Detroit SAY Play Center in July 2018. Our boys have enjoyed various activities, homework help, academic tutoring, and meeting new friends. I would highly recommend this center to parents who would like their children to be in a safe and fun environment. Also would recommend potential sponsors to take a look at the Detroit SAY PLAY Center.

This is a amazing place, I was there doing so contract work in July. The Gym was full of children for a basketball camp, another group learning computers and a third group with a teacher reading a book and engaging the students on the subject. Schools out and this is summer, but kids are learning and engaged. The outside and inside of building is very well kept, staff is friendly and we'll secured. Way to go Mathew, Staff and Detroit! Bob
