Camp HYPE is the summer day camp run by HYPE Athletics Community, a nonprofit founded in 2001 to support Wayne County youth through athletics, tutoring, mentoring and life-skills programming. Camp runs Monday through Friday at the Dearborn Heights recreation center on West Warren Avenue for ages 4-17, with campers split into age groups that follow their own activity curriculum and occasional all-camp activities; lunch packages are available. HYPE runs the camp at three sites — Dearborn Heights, Wayne and Belle Isle — and describes its programs as drug-free and violence-free.

One of my favorite facilities near the dearborn area. Their all girls gym contains a wide range of equipment covering all kinds of workouts you want to do. They also have a sauna, shower area, and many fun classes you can join. One time i lost my bose headphones in the gym, and one of the employees was kind enough to secure them for me before and kept them safe for me to pick up the next day. They also have great customer service, the people working there are always very friendly and understanding. For the price you are paying, i think this facility covers so much and more of what you could ask for!

I love this gym so much! Me and my sisters go there almost everyday! Also, Fadia is the besttt! She always has a smile on her face and welcomes us whenever we walk in. Everyone is so kind and welcoming ❤️

I have never been to this gym, but from the 2 phone calls I had with them, I will never go. I am interested in the group fitness classes. I went to their website, instagram, and facebook pages, no March schedule is posted. I called, a guy answered and he sounded so confused about what I'm asking as if "group fitness schedule" is some strange concept for a gym and he works at the front desk! I believe it was March 2 and he said he has no idea and to call back. I called back now and spoke to a woman who sounded as confused. She said " you're talking about silver sneakers?", i said "no I didnt even mention that, i just want to see the whole calendar for your group fitness classes to see what you offer, for example zumba and other ones". She started listing times for zumba only. Again, i said Im looking for the whole calendar to see what you offer. After explaining this simple concept many times, she said to go online, and again I said I already did and nothing is posted. She said I have to leave my name and numebr so she can see if there is a way to send it. I'm baffled that this is something she can't just email to me. And then she said I'd have to go in person to pick it up. The whole conversation was just rude, non professional, and ignorant for someone who works at a front desk. My question was very simple.

I’ve been coming here for a while now. Let me just say the women’s only gym has been the best gym I’ve ever been to. It’s always so positive and very clean. The worker there I think her name is nene“Nevein” is always cleaning the mirrors and making sure everything is where it’s supposed to be. Hype Athletics On Top💯

The actual gym is the size of a high school weight room considering how much broken and very outdated equipment, seems like the owner just wants money so he builds new amenities to jack up the price instead of fixing the men’s gym. Planet fitness, edge or literally anywhere else is cleaner and has better equipment. do not go here, horrible customer service too.
