There is a 1 star comment down below but whoever wrote that is so Wong they say that you can't use your phone you can you can't be on it all day however and also the mess hall thing is real but it's not just the opposite gender it's whoever the person who called you out on it picks and it's just for fun

Great summer camp for kids. My son has gone each year for the past decade. The Goodman Oaks session is always organized and full of fun activities.

Know your rights. Personal devices are not permitted for attendees. Although this is to prevent campers from being on their phones all the time, we were not allowed to contact parents or guardians, even when injured. Also the way the treat people in the dining hall is horrid. There is a rule where if you put your elbows on the table while it is eating time, you would have to walk around the room holding hands with someone of the opposite gender. Not only is this embarrassing as a punishment (and possibly cruel and unusual), but campers often abuse this to walk with people they find attractive, to the point where one girl didn't have time to eat! If you believe in the safety of your child with these people, by all means go for it. However please consider these factors when choosing this camp. My personal experience: 1 star; 0 if I could
