I have not participated in any of their dance or music classes, or their other martial arts, but from what I have seen of others doing it, they definitely seem to be enjoying themselves. Overall, the furnishings are very good. There are some slight issues with heating, cooling, and leaks during heavy storms, but that's just part of working in an older building. The people working there are extremely friendly and accommodating.

★★★★★melissa solomonWe learn to play the djembe drum. Mr. Shabaka teaches kids of all ages to play. It's really amazing to see the talents of such young kids. The building is decorated inside with all kinds of African art and historical pictures. Also on-site in a dojo run by Master Daryl. He teaches Jujitsu and akeido. The children are taught to be good citizens, decision makers, and caring people. The class is much more than learning a martial art. Sensei Sophie also teaches. She is fabulous with the children.
