WLD Ranch

Christian western-ranch camp on Woolsey Road in Girard, Pennsylvania, running horse-centered overnight and day 'Round-ups' since 1963. Pathfinder weeks (ages 8-12 junior, 13-17 teen) pair a morning Bible Round-Up with one chosen skill track - Adventure Team, Archery, Horsemanship, Outdoor Skills, Pioneer Crafts or Riflery - alongside hayrides, campfires and guest speakers, while Trailblazer (ages 12-16) goes deeper into Wrangler Week, Adventure Camp or Target Sports. Shorter three-day Tenderfoot (ages 6-9) and Explorer (ages 10-14) sessions suit younger or first-time campers, and day-camp versions of most weeks run 9:00am-4:00pm alongside the overnight program. In 2026 overnight weeks ran $268-$494 and day camps $208-$346.

This was such a fun experience for my daughter’s Girl Scout troop! I’m glad I was able to be a part of it too! We were treated so well by the owners. They took great care of our girls! The food was good. The bunk houses were as I expected. Everything was clean and welcoming.

My wife and I recently attended the Married Couples Retreat at the ranch and had a great experience. The retreat runs Friday evening through Saturday, with the option to stay overnight or go home. Since we live about 15 minutes away, we chose to go home, but the facility is very nice and welcoming. The retreat gave us a fresh perspective on how to better communicate and strengthen our marriage, with meaningful takeaways whether you are religious or not. I would definitely recommend the ranch for a peaceful getaway or couples retreat and look forward to the upcoming open house.
