After my daughter outgrew Teacher Steven’s Music Together class, we had a hard time finding something that she enjoyed with the same energy level and enthusiasm from the instructor. Luckily we found San Carlos Children’s Theater and Teacher Maya. We are on our second session and love the flow of the class, the location (youth center, Burton Park), and Teacher Maya’s teaching style. We are currently in the class for 3-5 year olds. It’s engaging, age appropriate and entertaining. Highly recommend.

Poor Management & Logistical Failures. If you are looking for an effective program, look elsewhere. The management decided to schedule a public performance without providing basic equipment like a microphone, meaning the audience heard nothing. The quality was extremely poor. While I wasn't expecting a professional show after only two and a half days, inviting people requires meeting basic logistical expectations. They didn't even look at the kids and asking them to tighten their shoelaces during the performance. This was a complete waste of time and money.

My toddler took a dance class here - everyone was very nice!

Kids, up through highschool, learn a lot about theater and collaboration, and creativity. I'm somewhat biased because my wife directs some shows. But I see a lot of kids develop talent and devotion to the theater itself. They find their love for the art, and build strong friendships from their first show, and through the following years.
