The place of my childhood. Their delightful classes and camps made me an actor. I’m majoring in theater now. They got me through covid. I’m so grateful for ccct.

A true community theater, CCCT has been a fixture of the sf/bay area art scene since 1970 and is back in 2021/2022 to celebrate the triumphant return of live theatre. Support the arts, support the community, and support CCCT!

CCCT has a great acting camp during the summer, which has been one of my fondest memories as a kid. They also offer musical play sessions during the school year. Their mainstream plays tend to be amazing, with great acting, excitement, and an intricate set. Out of the ten or so plays I have watched at there, each one left me feeling like I had just watched my favorite movie. 10/10 would definitely recommend visiting. My only slight issue with CCCT is the theater seating. The seats only have a slight incline, making it relatively common to have your view of the stage partially blocked by someone in front of you. However, this rarely took away from my enjoyment of the performances, and the problem isn't the theater's fault; the building is historic and was originally built that way, and CCCT has done a great job of using the minimal space they have effectively to allow as many people as possible to view their great performances.

Great quality shows! Cute, intimate, comfortable. Went to see Allegiance. So glad I did.

Delightful local theater keeping its quiet side of the bay entertained and enriched for generations! Saw In the Heights a couple months back and had an awesome time- it’s an intimate, no pressure or presumption experience just a great show happening right in front of you- no bad seats in the house. Had several friends who went through their summer theater camps as kids that had a truly excellent time, think about it if your youngsters want to get on stage!
