Camp Salem, the summer day camp of the YMCA of Virginia's Blue Ridge at the Salem Family YMCA, offering full-day and half-day programs for children ages 5 to 12 plus a half-day Kinder Camp for potty-trained ages 3 through rising kindergarten. Weekly themes cover hiking, outdoor games, camping skills, science experiments, sports, water play and classic camp traditions. Families can register for the full 9-to-11-week season or pick individual weeks.
