Powered by GoogleIt's cool. Serious gaurds for saftey 👍 My son likes it.
The pool was comfortable, a little too warm, but it was a hot day, and I would have like cooler water. The staff was really friendly and watching over the pool well. The pool surface needs redone. It's crumbling all over the place. The entry is by ladder or a jump in, so there are no easy steps to walk in and out. For $10 per person, it was a little pricey for the size of the pool and the amount of activities and quality of the pool. There are plenty of chairs and lounges that were nice. A couple of umbrellas are available, otherwise $10 to rent one.
Perfect for a muggy day such as today. And we came here multiple times last year. It's a perfect bike ride here, cool off and head home. A perfect outside day for me and my two children when I have them on the weekends. Today our visit was a disappoint right when we arrived. When I pay for admission, there are 3 or 4 employees hanging out in the front office/admission area and only one looking over the pool. That's fine. But what irritated me was when my son wanted to go down the slide and one of the lifeguards comes out of their box and tells him that the deep end is closed due to not having enough lifeguards on duty. But what if there were more that were actually guarding and not relaxing in the office? I'm not sure how they do stuff here but does there really need to be 4 employees in the admission office and only one overlooking the pool? My kids look forward to this when I have them for the weekends and this was a big disappointment that they couldn't get full advantage of all that rockton pool has to offer. At least don't make me pay the full 27 dollars if that's how it's going to be. I do this for my kids and it really bums me out to not see them having full access to the pool when I feel it can be done. Please let me know if I'm missing someone here.
I had a awful time here, the "Lifeguard" (named Kayla) wouldn't let me go off the diving board backwards! I asked if I can walk off and she said, "No." 10/10 would not recommend going if she is on duty unless you want your perfect child to get yelled at by a mean girl. But Vito 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟/5 stars, this young gentleman is a legend! 10/10 would recommend going if he is on duty for the swim of your life!
It was my 1st time here. I moved to Illinois from Connecticut last July. The pool was so warm!!! The water was so clean. Not too crowded. It was well worth the $5.00 fee. I cannot wait to go back!!
