Powered by GoogleI'm giving it a 1 for TODAY. Usually not. Call when I get off work, they tell me open untill 6. I get my son, grab our stuff we get there at 3:15. Staff then tells us they are closing at 4 due to the weather, I ask why? As I checked the weather it said possible thunderstorms starting at 6. Then my son left a beach towel there about a month ago, I called right away they said ( big pool staff) there was nothing left behind. I see a life guard with it as I have the other one that goes with the set. In the office I ask "hey where did u get that beach towel"?, ( as I know the set was bought out of town the life guard mumbles over her words, and says " my friend". I say ok walk back out to my son and another life guard brings me the towel, apologizes and says she got it from here. I said I knew that, but was not going to make a scene. So 1... they charged me 5.00 for myself and a child for 45 minutes of swimming. 2... they closed for no reason it's 8 pm no storm 3.. stold my beach towel, that was so tore up, I threw it away. Spencer you should talk to your staff. Today was ridiculous.
Be warned: If you are a family of 3, you will pay more than a family of 4. Two parents and one child, we paid $13 and they wouldn't let us have the family rate of $10. I get that we aren't four people but that is a very weird way to do it. The pool itself was fine, nothing special either way.
Well cleaned. Very friendly staff. They reopened about a month ago and have been very good at maintaining social distancing rules. I am from Rockford and our public pools are not open and we are thankful for Kruger pool being an option for us.
I felt very safe here. The staff all wore mask. The tables were clearly separated and marked you were given wrist bands for your specific area the table was clearly sanitized. The pool wasn't crowded everyone safely kept their distance. Puddle jumpers were sanitized. No going into the building making it safer.
Love this place, since I was a child I would come there on hot days and swim for hours. Many memories in that pool and at that park. I lived less than a block from this park since I was young. Me and my best friends walked down everyday and meet up with our other friends and hung out and swam and listened to the music playing. Some of my greatest childhood memories are at this pool and park.
