Excellent facilities and support for Robotics.
So much fun with my daughter and her class very educational. Wear comfortable shoes! All of the people who work at the center really love kids and it shows! Will definitely be going to family Steam night!
love this place, great for robotics club and a fun area
The Shaw Center (for STEAM) is a large building with a central open concept room and with small arena in the middle and 8 accommodating large creation studios (with some smaller supplemental rooms). The main function of this building is robotics for Katy ISD high schools, but it also is used for stem and family events, field trips, and other education-related activities. I love coming here to volunteer and help out staff with their events. Easily seen, easy to access, not too much parking for large events but enough for smaller ones.
