I took a handful of acting courses here over the summer, and while I very much enjoyed the opportunities provided in class and the content learned, some teachers I had did not have a problem with people wearing offensive political type clothing to class. It was very uncomfortable as they brought politics into a classroom where it had no place, and was never addressed. Since DCPA's website does not seem to have a place for reviews I'm leaving mine here. The classes ARE pretty good, however if you are sensitive at all to people being ignorant consistently for over 6 weeks while you're trying to learn, this may not be the best place for you.

We saw Elephant and Piggie "Let's do a Play". It was wonderful! The space was a very kid friendly space with carpet and risers up front so little kids could sit close.

Love the emotion the actors put into the show and the flexibility to schedule really is great o my thing is it's a children's theater but the toilet s are adult size so the smaller kids can't actually go by themselves they need someone to lift them. otherwise it's great

This is an adorable little venue. We attended Good Night Moon for a field trip and the whole place was decorated specifically to fit the theme of the show. The staff and cast were excellent, very friendly and engaging. The show itself was perfect and we were very impressed with the props and scenery. Definitely very highly recommended, both the venue and the show!
