Powered by GoogleCoaches are all experts in their field. Coach Chris Melsom is my son’s favorite, he enjoys one hour of 1-1 coaching with Chris. My son is learning so much. Tennis is now his favorite sport. The coaches keep it moving and the kids interested, learning while having fun and getting some movement.
My son attended this tennis facility for 6 months and the owner and coaches were amazing towards us. The owner Ray Frazier and Coach Ollie were beyond kind and went out of his way to come alongside my son and take him under their wings. The clinics were fun for the kids and as a parent, I too took a beginning tennis class and it was excellent. I have only good things to say.
Notice the most 2 recent reviews are 1 stars. Here’s my opinion on Riverside Tennis Club and the owner…… -Not a very nice facility. Greenville country club makes Riverside tennis club look like an absolute joke. Zero hard courts. The junior program is probably the worst out of any program in the upstate. The lines on the clay courts are the worst I’ve ever seen. Also, I 100% agree with the most recent review. The owner (Ray Frazier) is extremely rude and just not a good person at all. I believe he has no empathy for others and all he cares about is himself and his business. If you don’t trust my opinion, look me up on google. I know a little bit about tennis. Stay away from Riverside tennis club and especially the owner (Ray Frazier). So many better facilities around anyways.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First off, the clays are positioned in a way where that there is a shady side and a sunny side. The owner was terribly rude as when I arrived for a tournament on time he was extremely rude and belittled me. Further more, for a tournament, the clay courts were not even sweeped or lined!!! The tennis courts were wet in some part and dry in other with lots of divots and bumps so it was impossible to hit a normal rally!! Terrible place do not come.
No better place to learn how to play and build up to a competitive level or just to get in shape and learn something new. Love the vibe here, very supportive owner and coaches are phenomenal. Hands down the best of the best!
