Rising Stars Athletic Complex in Freeport is the home facility of Rising Stars Youth Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that runs basketball programming out of a converted former National Guard armory with two regulation high school courts and an academic enrichment center. Its 2026 Summer Basketball Camp runs August 24-27 from 9:00am to 3:00pm for boys entering grades 4-9, with public online registration. The foundation also offers girls summer basketball training and a Little Stars program for younger players.

I signed up my Son for their basketball camp for the winter break and it was money well spent. My Son is in 10U and is still working on his development and confidence on the court.
