Powered by GoogleBest YMCA in Tennessee! Fogelman’s also has friendly and helpful staff but at Ric Nuber they really go above and beyond. They seem to know everyone and treat everyone like family. Whenever there’s an issue I can depend on them to resolve it. I’ve been treated badly at Cordova and both Cordova and Church Health have serious issues with pool management that they do not seem interested in resolving which is why I drive the extra distance to Ric Nuber. I’ve been using and supporting YMCAs for nearly 40 years and if not for Ric Nuber I would end my membership living in Memphis.
I participated in a Line Dancing class here and had the most amazing time. I learned dances outside of the usual I normally do. I didn't use any of the center's other amenities. Overall, I had a nice time and met new people!
THIS IS MY FAVORITE YMCA! It is cleaned and the gym is so nice! Also the pool is so deep and clean it feels like a ocean 💗
Ok. I like this ymca! The locker room is spacious and clean! And the weight room is well stocked and equipped with every machine a person would need to change their life! The free weight area was a little small or cramped but still big enough to have a couple squat racks, bench press setups(incline, decline and reg) and other various racks!! This ymca does have a pool which is outdoors, but they are in the process of putting up a dome which should be complete by mid November?! The only thing that I would like to see change are the hours being extended to 10pm. Other then that this is a really nice YMCA, by far one of the better ones that i have visited! Any info left out of this review can be found in their app found in ios/android store!!
A family center. All ages can find something to do here. There’s numerous classes. Open to all ages. Kids can workout too. 10 and up can use equipment after an introduction class. Silver sneakers classes for seniors and field trips. Childcare is provided up to two hours while you workout. Swimming pool is open all the time. Even swim in the winter because a warm bubble covers their outdoor pool. The plus is memberships are good at any location. So no matter what part of town I’m in...I can get a workout or a class done.
