I would like to submit a complaint regarding an employee at the YMCA. He has consistently displayed a disrespectful and arrogant attitude. Whenever I ask for assistance, he responds in a dismissive manner and seems unwilling to help. This behavior is unacceptable in a customer service environment and has made my experience very unpleasant. This is not the first time this has happened. I experienced the same issue with this employee last year as well. His attitude and behavior have been consistent, and unfortunately, there has been no improvement. I would appreciate it if this issue could be investigated and addressed appropriately so that all members are treated with respect and professionalism.

New rules every time you come here. The rules of the pool are not consistent with every life guard. Some lifeguards don't care if you have on a life vest, some require it, some require a wrist band, some don't care. Now the new rule is during swim lessons and swim team, no one can swim inside, you must go outside. Getting a wristband is a hassle. The front will send you to the back because they have none, the back sends you back to the front. It's just insane. Membership is starting to become not worth it for all the hassle. You all really need to do better. And I hate to make it about race, but boy do you notice a difference between interactions with black families vs white families.

Staff was friendly and kind, and the atmosphere pleasant. However, I came in with a voucher for a free day pass from their location (a YMCE rep had passed them out to employees at my husband's work) and they told me they couldn't honor it and there was no one there with the authority to make the decision (I came it @ 10 am on a Monday). I ended up paying $25 for my daughter and I to use the swimming pool. Even though I wanted to let her swim and just observe, not swim myself, everyone pays to enter, period. However, what was most disappointing was the lack of cleanliness in the women's locker rooms and showers, and the pool area. The locker area had a lot of water and paper towels on the ground, many waterstained ceiling tiles, there was black scum in the shower floors and on the shower curtains, and there was debris in the storage lockers. There also used to be a hair dryer available and there isn't one anymore. The water in the general pool was very cloudy and murky (the lap pool was fine) and there was brown scum on the entire pool rim from the waterline up, at least 5 inches deep. I thought it was staining, but it rubbed right off with a fingertip. On every wall and door in the pool area, anywhere hands or feet touch, or where someone would lean their head while sitting in a bench, there were brown patches. EVERYTHING was dirty: pool rim, ladders, doors, equipment stands, etc. I was expecting wear, but not dirt, and was very, very surprised and disappointed in how unsanitary it was for a bustling location. Definitely not planning on getting a membership.

Great customer service! They have an outdoor pool with 2 slides. A shallow end for the kids. They have an indoor pool with a hot tub and sauna. Most YMCAs dont have an outdoor pool or sauna. They have a great gym and workout area. They even had a Laser Tag event on Friday which was great for my 6 year old. He had a ball! They also have YPlay for kids and babies so parents can workout!

We visited for a swim meet in November. The facility is nice and clean. It is under construction. The kids area looks nice. The pool area is the main area we were in. It gets extremely hot and humid in the indoor pool area. It has no air flow. Our whole family feels like we have had some kind of reaction to the heat combined with the fumes of the chlorine. Make sure you bring seats and a fan! I can't imagine how it is in the summer. There isn't a score board, just a small digital clock and a massive face clock. The hot tub looked a little yellow.
