Roy is a fantastic teacher. In spite of my worries about watercolor paints, he explained the steps in such a way (plus demos) that gave me confidence, and I ended up with some paintings I liked. We brought our entire Girl Scout troop here for a pottery class, and it was absolutely wonderful. From the very first step of organizing the visit to the moment the girls finished their pots, everyone on the team was incredibly kind, patient, and supportive. Our troop (ages 8-9yrs old) had the best time learning all about how pottery is made, and they were so proud of what they created. Huge shoutout to Ms. Grace — she was a total rockstar and made every girl feel confident and excited throughout the process. Such a fantastic experience for kids and groups. Redmond Art Works has been a wonderful discovery for our family. My 8-year-old eagerly looks forward to his time there, especially the sessions where he gets to explore comic-style drawing. The instructors are kind, approachable, and truly make each visit special. The space is lively, welcoming, and full of color and energy—perfect for young imaginations. The variety of projects keeps things interesting, and it’s been a joy to see his skills grow.
